I plumped for the 50" G10 because I had doubts as to whether the extra money for the V10 was worth it I think not but hey thats just my opinion! Either way - youre getting a great TV though!
I'm wondering though if this also applies to the models outside the UK, since those seem to have more color calibration controls. It's a shame that you haven't been able to compare the same models in a non-UK version and see if you would come to the same conclusion. My dilemma is that we'll be sat 6ft eyeball-to-screen from our screen, apparently the largest screen we should be viewing at that distance is a 46".
