I have completed my btech from mechanical branch and I have learned the software autocad and proE , now I have to move forward. TECH degree, i couldnt get any job. Auto cad is basic software for Mechanical engineers. Hey, My major is mechanical and i want to know if a mac will be good for running the softwares mentioned above and more.

For design purpose you should go for Creo parametric and beside it i will recommend you to use either ansys or abaqus. I am in last year of BE mechanical.. I am sure you will find them very useful.
