Plotting problems which OLE appears 'grainy', 'fuzzy', etc. If the drawing is plotted rotated the OLE does not. OLE Objects can 'bleed through' multiple layouts, showing up in places where they don't belong.
You may also want to take a look at using tables in ACAD as a work around. The quickest fix I found which worked for me was Solution There are different ways to paste OLE objects into the program. Select the Paste option, then choose OK. Specify an insertion point. Here is your best bet. Save changes to the embedded objects by clicking the File menu and selecting Update.

I am having problems plotting my CAD file to as an Adobe pdf file. I have ensured that it is on a printable layer and that the Properties Plot Quality is "monochrome- e.
I am able to view the spreadsheet in the print preview. I am also able to print the spreadsheet using my network Lexmark printer.
The problem is that the spreadsheet will not print to the Adobe pdf file. To alleviate this problem I have made a pdf file of the CAD sheet with a blank space for the spreadsheet , then made a separate pdf file of the Excel spreadsheet, then used Adobe In Design to overlay the two files and save as one final pdf file.
I'm not sure if you still have the same problem, but I was able to create the PDF - see attached. It sounds like a problem i had. This may be a little late for a response though. I'm now having those same problems as mentioned above. The suggestion i have is not helping my issue now. It seemed to help the other day. Everything I tried did not work except closing out of Acad and getting back in. Now, im getting mixed quality on my PDFs from two separate excel files.
I find it strange that one excel spreadsheet shows up good, but another does not. One shows up very clear and sharp. The other shows up pixelated and very blurry. Is there anything I need to change for this? Im using Acad 12, Excel , 32 bit.
The excel file is a marco file for excel. Any help would be appreciated. I recently had the same problem I suggest Low Graphics if you want your lines to print. Monochrome will not print the lines from your excell file. I recently came across your post.
